Garak from "The Wire"

So, this is my second ever attempt at drawing Garak. He's very difficult to draw, and I'm way out of practice, but I'm going to post it here anyway. (My first attempt was so bad that I threw it in the trash.)

The second version is just me playing with the filters in Photoshop to see what type of effects I could get. I don't think it's as good as the original, but I like the dark expressionism feel.

The third version is me attempting to fix some things, like the eyes, that I'm not entirely happy with by hand. Plus, I decided to play with adding color. It's rather pathetic, but I'm posting it anyway.

The original was drawn while looking at a screenshot I got from Trekcore. As you can see, I didn't get the expression quite right. It is so subtle that every single line makes a huge difference. Hopefully my next attempt will be more successful.
